How this site uses your information.

What we collect

• What you type into the contact form: your name, phone or email, the topic and your message.
• The page where you started and non-personal campaign labels associated with your inquiry, so we can understand how it reached us.
• Technical information our host, Cloudflare, records automatically for security. A short-lived, keyed hash of the edge IP is used for request limits; the site does not put a raw IP address in your inquiry.

This site doesn’t use advertising trackers. Videos on Shawn’s interview pages open on YouTube only when you click them, and YouTube’s privacy policy applies there.

Who receives your message

Contact form messages are saved in an encrypted private database hosted by Cloudflare and emailed to Shawn Way, with a copy to the website-management team, so they can reply and resolve delivery problems. Saved inquiries are retained for up to 90 days; email copies follow the recipients’ own retention policies. A saved receipt confirms storage, not that an email has been read. We don’t sell your information or automatically enroll you in marketing. If you apply for a loan, West Capital Lending, Inc. handles your application under its privacy policy.

Optional usage counts

If you choose “Allow counts,” this site records daily totals for page visits, call-button clicks, message-button clicks, secure-application clicks and saved inquiries. Counts contain only the event name and page path. They do not include cookies, visitor identifiers, query strings, contact details, messages, loan answers or certificate links. Your choice is stored in this browser and can be changed through “Usage preferences” in the footer.

Page and campaign labels for an inquiry are kept temporarily in this tab’s session storage and sent with the inquiry when you submit it. They are separate from optional usage counts.
